Medical mission Fall trip a success!

October 31-November 14, 2010 Project Vietnam team completed its medical work.

During the trip 6 teams deployed to provide training in various areas of healthcare:

1. Neonatal Resuscitation Team (International Relief Teams Inc) provided 2 courses for instructors at Phu Yen and Hanoi, 25 new instructors and 95 new providers were trained.

2. Course on Obstetrical Ultrasound Level 2 to detect prenatal abnormalities at Gia Dinh Hospital for 20 physicians

3. Gynecological Urology at Tu Du and Gia Dinh hospitals

4. Bright Futures training by our team of developmental specialists to advance the care of special needs children

5. Pediatric Emergency/Radiology team to discuss updates in the field of emergency care for children

6. Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers, a partnership with the Vietnamese American NGO network to train 41 instructors and 80 providers in HCM city and Hanoi
